HOW SLOPEVISION WORKS
-
If you hold your putter like a pendulum, on a flat surface it will hang straight down.
-
When the green is sloped, the putter head will swing to the downhill side
✓ The angle formed at the grip is the same as the angle of the green!
✓ The putter will move an EXACT distance for each % slope
✓ SlopeVision marks those distances so you can read the slope from your putter head!

How to Measure the Green Slope
Along the line of your putter find a natural mark on the green - for example, a blade of grass or piece of sand. Place your feet so that the natural mark is EXACTLY between your feet.
Standing straight and perpendicular to the green. Lift the putter head slightly above the surface and directly in line with the center of your body (plumb bob).
If there is a slope, the putter will move and a SlopeVision mark will align with the mark between your feet. Read the slope directly from your putter!

HOW TO MARK YOUR PUTTER
On a level floor, pick a mark that is exactly in the middle of your stance. (A line formed by flooring works well.)
Stand straight holding the putter lightly in your fingers in the middle of your body about 1 inch below the end of the grip. Look down through your grip point to where the putter lines up with the line on the floor.
Mark that spot with a marker.
This is your 0% slope mark.
Choose the SlopeVision template that matches your putter length. Proceed to mark your putter for each % slope.
