Teaching Professional Review

I have found SlopeVision is a great way to quickly get a very accurate slope on the green. Also, it is much easier to teach and my students learn it more quickly than other methods of determining slope.

Why use SlopeVision?

SlopeVision is easy to learn and can be much more accurate than using your feet or eyes alone.
It is easier and more reliable under pressure or in conditions where ‘feeling’ the slope can be difficult.
Once you have an accurate % slope number, you can use other means to determine your starting line like using your fingers or a formula.

Does it conform with the Rules of Golf?

Yes! Equipment Rules allow for decorations or lines that are “permanent or semi-permanent”. Using a marker is considered semi-permanent.
Playing Rules state “a player may use their club as a plumb line to assist in judging or gauging slope”
